My name is Blake Elarbee, and I offer Private Personal Training in Los Angeles, and Online Coaching.
I hold a Bachelors of Science Degree in Dietetics(nutrition) from Florida State University. I am a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, and Certified Sports Nutrition Specialist. I have 15+ years experience training and coaching a variety of clients.
I have 10+ years experience competing in Physique Contests. I do a little modeling for fun, and have appeared on multiple reality shows. Most notably, “The Bachelorette.”
In my spare time, I enjoy snowboarding, drumming, and hanging with my two crazy dogs Calvin and Hobbes.
I train anyone looking to improve their health, strength, mobility, and body composition(weight loss/muscle gain). My formal education and experience in nutrition is a huge asset to anyone looking to lose weight and improve their physique.
I help a wide variety of clientele. Whether you are very overweight, just looking to get in better shape, or even looking to push yourself to the next level and compete in a physique contest, I can help you get there! For clients seeking a healthier body, I focus primarily on education and behavior change. For advanced trainees looking to get as lean as possible or compete, we focus on the nitty gritty and track every detail possible to maximize results and be our absolute best.
Personal Training Rates(Los Angeles)
Personal Training is purchased on a monthly basis, and the per-session rate is determined by frequency.
•1x a week(4 sessions monthly) $120 a session
•2x a week(8 sessions monthly) $100 a session
•3x a week(12 sessions monthly) $90 a session
Online Coaching
Online coaching is $300 a month. It includes 1 weekly hour(ish) phone/FaceTime/Skype call to go over the past week, answer questions, make adjustments to the diet, and keep you accountable and on track. You will get a workout program tailored to fit your schedule and goals, a SAMPLE diet(Not intended to be your actual diet, this is to show you how to design a diet), weekly dietary adjustments, a cardio routine/recommendations, and unlimited text/email support.
You aren't just paying for a piece of paper(like “coaches” that sell cookie cutter/one size fits all “custom” diets), you are paying for unlimited access to my knowledge, experience, and education, so please ask as many questions as possible. You can text me anytime with important questions and I will get back to you in a timely manner. For general questions, please jot them down and save them for us to go over during our weekly check-in.
You will be required to use the app MyFitnessPal(or any other calorie/macro tracking app) to learn how your body uses calories and macronutrients(carbs, fats, and protein) and I will help assist you along the way. Many people DO NOT want to track what they eat, and I get it, but that’s not how I coach. My service is not for people that only want to be told what to do. That won’t work unless you plan on having me for the rest of your life. My service is for people who want to be educated on an expert level, so that they are confident and empowered to be successful on their own once our time together comes to an end.
The goal is not to be a slave to tracking and be dependent on an app for the rest of your life. The goal, is to track for a period of time to learn the caloric consequences of “good” and “bad” food(and alcohol) decisions, to learn serving sizes, to learn how to read food labels, to see how different foods make you feel, food volume, food density, and so on. After tracking and being coached by me for at least 2-3months, you will become a diet ninja! You will have learned the skills necessary to make the right decisions moving forward for your body composition goals.
The sample diet is just to show you how I would eat to fit the macros I suggest for you. Since your diet will change slightly over time, there is no one “eat the same thing everyday” diet that will continue to work. That’s why the sample diet is just a snapshot of what to do at that time, and to give you a reference. My goal is to teach you how to maintain a workout schedule and diet strategy that fits your lifestyle and allows you to MAINTAIN your results. There are no quick fixes. The end result should be successfully educating you how to maintain the physique you want in an sustainable manner.

A human scale
A food tracking app(they’re free)
Access to a gym
Patience
All I ask is that you try your best, and don’t get discouraged if you trip up. Mistakes are part of the process. Diet is extremely personal, and there will be a lot of tweaking, adjusting, lessons, and “ah-ha” moments along the way. Together, we will get where you need to go.
